“Leave No Trace” is the sacred mantra of Burning Man. But when the dust settled this year, the truth was written in garbage, and Fernley, Nevada paid the price.
The hypocrisy is staggering. The same Burners who flood social media with smug lectures about “radical responsibility” rolled into Fernley and treated it like a dumping ground. Locals never asked for this and were left to clean up the wreckage.
Thank you for sharing this documentary. The BLM is corrupt, the Washoe County law enforcement are corrupt!! Shame on them your job is to protect the land and protect the people and because you want money instead!! Sickening, this documentary doesn’t even cover the drug overdoses, the deaths, the sexual assaults. All because people are greedy and would rather lie, and keep their money than protect people and the land. 🤬

Great documentary. Thank You for doing this and for the previous clean up documentaries. This is a bad event that needed to stay where it began. I know “Burners” that believe there is nothing left behind. I hope they see this documentary. There is a lot of money in a lot of high places and it is very evident that money speaks louder than anything else.
I have just watched your documentary with absolute shock and hope these greedy-money makers get their Karma soon. The Playa and the people that live around it, who aren’t corrupted by money and indulgence, have had enough. It’s time to leave it be after the awful damage that has been scarred in to the motherland. Shame on you Burning Man and the BLM. It’s time you left NO trace by never returning.
I’m ready for this event to be permanently OVER. The Black Rock Desert is 1000% more valuable than anything Burning Man can serve up. Burning Man is willfully ignorant of the destruction they’re causing, completely illiterate of conversation science and their impact on this environment. They will always manipulate the narrative to their advantage and stay willfully ignorant. And now an UNSOLVED homicide in 2025. I say follow the money and SHUT THEM DOWN.
